Go Noodle House is a relatively new non-halal restaurant in Aeon Bandaraya Melaka and it serves one of the best Chinese food in the shopping mall. Of course this is not the first time we have dined in the restaurant. Why did we keep on returning to this restaurant? Initially we were enticed by its unbelievably flavorful soup and the uber delicious bursting meatballs. Yes! The moment you sink your teeth into these generously huge meatballs, they will explode in your mouth, filling it with juicy broth. My gosh~thinking about it alone is already causing me to drool. 😋
Do you know that the empire Go Noodle House began with a simple family recipe? The secret recipe is the addition of Yellow Rice Wine (Shao Xing Hua Diao Jiu) into the soup which really elevates the texture, taste and fragrant of the soup. Of course Malaysians really enjoyed the soup and other range of cuisines that are offered, so much so that there are around 37 outlets of Go Noodle House in Malaysia after it was first launched in 2014. I must concede that right now my family and I are die-hard fans of this restaurant as well.
So back to our 14th anniversary celebration, we ordered a few of our favourite dishes and had a feast. Wifey ordered the signature Mi Xian Superior Soup With Bursting Meatballs which she really enjoyed especially the unforgettable perfect soup with the premium Hua Diao Wine. Another highlight is their noodles which are really slurpy, silky and filling at the same time~you simply can't resist them. And the bursting meatballs will top it off, making the dish one of the best noodles you have ever eaten in your life.
As for yours truly me, I decided to try something more adventurous this time around. I ordered their satisfyingly spicy Pan Mee Spicy Soup. OMG~the spicy broth was so appetizing and tasty, urging you crave for more to gratify your yearning. It was quite fragrant and I really enjoyed the combination of this spicy broth and the springy noodles. Throw in a few bursting meatballs and voila~you will have the perfect hearty meal that will go a long way.
Special Dark Sauce Pan Mee
When you are really hungry 😁
Jasmine girl enjoying her food
Yum~yum~right? 😋
Both Jordan boy and Jasmine girl shared the dried version of the Special Dark Sauce Pan Mee with Onsen Egg. It was equally good and my children love their meal as well. We also ordered irresistible Trio Platter which consist of dried meat slice, fu chuk and and taiwanese sausages which were really, really crunchy and delectable. Honestly this dish also happens to be our favourite. We will always order this whenever we dine in Go Noodle House. So it is highly recommended just to order this snack as well. You won't regret it! 😀
Another MUST try-Trio Platter
All in all, we really love enjoying my meals in Go Noodle House. Apart from the scrumptious food, the ambiance was really, really uplifting and comfortable at the same time. Decked like an ancient restaurant complete with wooden frames, tables and chairs, you will travel back in time while slurping your noodles and eating your meatballs. Ha 😀 By the way, you can also purchase a bottle of wine that you can bring home or choose to put in on the shelf in the restaurant (which we did). Of course we will be returning again and again to this favourite Chinese restaurant of ours for more noodles and bursting meatballs. So have you tried the food in Go Noodle House?
You can buy the wine at Go Noodle House 😀
