The good news for most Malaysians is that this Deepavali, school-going children will usually enjoy holidays until the 26th of October (Wednesday). That means, our Hindu friends can enjoy up to 5 days of holidays to catch up with family, relatives, and friends. It is very rare in Malaysia that we get so many holidays during the Festival of Lights, no?
