Our family did have a splashing time at the Bayview Hotel Melaka swimming pool. Despite no booking was needed to use the swimming pools, there was strict SOPs to adhere to.

Prior to enjoying our dinner at the hotel's Southern Court Chinese Restaurant, we decided to take a dip in the swimming pool. Fortunately, there were not many people after we had put on our swimsuits. Unlike the usual squarish swimming pools that we see in other hotels, the main swimming pool in Bayview Hotel Melaka is rather unique with its double elliptical shape.

Let's Get Wet First

The moment Jordan boy and Jasmine girl saw the swimming pool, they were truly ecstatic. Can't blame them though. After all, it had been quite some time since they last had a few laps of swim or rather several splashes. Honestly, the sight of the pool also made me feel relaxed and relieved. It is always good to have some time to unwind after work.

I love where the swimming pool is located, with its open space allowing you to have a panoramic look around the beautiful historical state of Melaka. There is also a dedicated children's pool which the kids did have an enjoyable, short brief time before jumping into a bigger pool. We truly enjoyed our swim more so since it was evening time with no scorching sun to spoil our wet, fun hour. Tilting our heads up, we were blessed to be able to enjoy the beautiful clear blue sky with adorable clouds.

Interestingly, there is an outdoor hot tub for you to dip in. You don't get to see this in every hotel though. Nothing beats soaking yourself in the jacuzzi to melt away all your worries and problems, right?
