As we headed towards the elevator, we were in awe of the hotel's huge lobby and its chandelier. Interesting there was even a replica of a traditional wooden Malay House right in the lobby. Welcome to our Deluxe Family Suite

When we first pushed open our door, the room looked great just like any other top-notch hotel in Malaysia...until we took a few more steps inside the room... *gasp* It was super damn spacious. It turned out that our room was the awesome Deluxe Family Suite that is made up of 2 bedrooms! Yep! We got 2 bedrooms that is actually conjoined for our 2 children, my wife and I. So the 4 of us could stay comfortably in this unbelievably spacious suite of ours.

We were so grateful that Bayview Hotel Melaka had provided us with their luxurious Deluxe Family Suite with 2 separate bedrooms. The main room with the queen bed belonged to my missus and I while another room with 2 twin beds was occupied by Jordan boy and Jasmine girl. What surprised me was the fact that each room has its very own separate flat screen TV. That meant that our little ones could enjoy cartoons while my wife and I watched movies or drama series on another TV.

My wife and I really loved ultra-comfortable mattress which was not only plush but also soft. Both Jordan and Jasmine were also full of praise about their respective twin beds. All of us had a good night's sleep thanks to cozy bed and silken pillows. Once we pulled apart the ritzy drapes, we were astounded by the breathtaking panoramic view overlooking the majestic Bukit Cina. If was even more splendid in the morning thanks to the golden ray of the sun which made the whole scenery look like it was glittering.

The en-suite bathroom was another highlight for our children as they thought it was funny and interesting. Being able to access the bathroom from two different rooms made them happy in ways we could not imagine. Speaking about the bathroom, it has ample of space and exquisite marble finishing which will definitely make your shower time a moment to relish. I know Jordan boy and Jasmine girl really enjoyed themselves. On top of that, we really appreciate the full range of premium toiletries provided by Bayview Hotel Melaka. Yupe! There were even new toothbrushes and toothpaste. 😊

Besides enjoying the satellite TV channels, we (or more precisely I) could indulge in the complimentary coffee. Ladies and girls will be happy to note that there are the usual hairdryer, iron and ironing board for your long, silky hair and crease-free clothes. Likewise I was happy with the safe box that allows us to secure our belongings while we were out and about. I was really impressed to discover that Bayview Hotel Melaka is also a food haven. If you are hungry and do not wish to leave the hotel to have your meals, head over to Palette Cafe to enjoy a heart breakfast or indulge in lip-smacking dinner at Southern Court Chinese Restaurant.

Apart from eating good food to our heart's content in the hotel itself we also enjoyed our water splashing time at its huge swimming pool. As usual yours truly me did some workout in the gym before enjoying more good food that the hotel has got to offer. All in all, we had a really pleasant stay in Bayview Hotel Melaka.
