Adidas has yet again endear us with its latest collaboration for its ZX 8000 series, this time around in the forms of "bricks". Though many are surprised to see the collaboration between Adidas and the Danish toy company, this new pair of LEGO Adidas Shoes is really colourful and fun. Adidas themselves has agreed that such collaboration allows both companies to break new grounds and explore unchartered territories. What comes to your mind when you think about LEGO? Colourful bricks right? Imagine stacking them together to build a pair of sneakers and voila! you get the LEGO Adidas ZX 8000. Multiple colourful accents sits atop the iconic Three Stripe graphics together with a base of tan suede and white mesh. The blue "brick" heel counter and the quintet of lace deubres which are interchangeable are definitely the most striking standout accents of the shoes. Choose from 5 different colour of laces for your LEGO Adidas Shoes

The toebox of LEGO Adidas Shoe has a pop of blue colour while the eyestays are adorned with bright red colour. You will get a huge and familiar LEGO hit on the red tongue tag which I thought really gives the shoe its personality. You can choose from 5 different lace colours. Interestingly the midsole is also crafted to feature LEGO blocks style. The midsole is painted in zesty yellow colour  with touches of green for forefoot and heel. I love how all the usual classic colours of LEGO blocks are being presented on the shoes.

80,000 bricks were used to build this LEGO shoe

A signature blue-coloured Torsion bar sits on top of the eye-catching red outsoles. On the inside, the insole gets the suspected co-branding of both LEGO and Adidas. For your information, the LEGO sculpture next to the shoes in the photo (above) is built using 80,000 bricks in 40 hours. I doubt they are selling this shoe.
