They look familiar, don't they? 😊

To recap, Jonathan Bennink who is the lead designer of "Adventure With Mario Starter" Lego set showed to everyone how your Lego-version of Mario will be in action when you assemble him in bricks. What is interesting is that the included Mario is an interactive, Bluetooth-enabled Lego figure. Thanks to the addition of Bluetooth, your Mario can actually interact with special Lego "Action Bricks" that will enable you to collect "Coins" when you move around, just like how you would in your video game! Brilliant! 😀

Look at Mario's LCD eyes, mouth and chest! 😃
They will animate according to the stimulus that he receives.

Mario is really special as he has these LCD displays for his eyes, mouth and even his chest to show his reactions and gameplay elements as well as a speaker for sound effects and music! No wonder this Super Mario Lego set is sold out even before it is launched!

Let's look at Mario's LCD eyes, mouth and chest in action! 😁

Mission accomplished! 😋

Do you know that there are two expansion sets? Once you have got your hands on the Starter set, you can expand your Super Mario Lego experience by adding the Piranha Plant Power Slide together with a Koopa Troopa. The second expansion set is the Bowser's Castle Boss Battle Expansion Set which of course will be featuring Bowser or King Koopa himself! If you are a big fan Super Mario then you have to get all 3 sets as they make your Super Marion Lego experience WHOLE. 😁 OMG! This really brings back all those good old memories for sure.

2nd Expansion: Bowser's Castle Boss Battle Expansion Set

Of course such classic, collector's editions Super Mario Lego sets will not come cheap at all. The Lego Mario Starter Course can be yours with a price tag of RM260 (US$59.90), while the first expansion set-Piranha Plant Power Slide Expansion Set will cost you RM130 (US$29.90) and last but not least the biggest of the three sets-Bowser's Castle Boss Battle Expansion Set will set you back with a price tag of RM434 (US$100). Surely if it is something (from your childhood) that you hold dearly in your heart, it is of course relatively cheap right? That explains why all of them are sold out.

Watch Super Mario in action!

Though the company is no longer taking any pre-orders as all their units are sold out, you can still add any of the sets in your wish list. Who knows that Lego decides to ramp up production and make more people's dreams come true right? 😊
