Samsung loves to quietly launch their slew of smartphones all across the globe and their latest stealth unveiling is the Galaxy A41. Samsung decided to launch this secret Galaxy A41 of their in the Land of The Rising Sun with NTT Docomo. I am sure we have seen multiple leaks showcasing this new affordable mid-range smartphone which will be available in 3 different colours namely Black, White and Blue.
6.1-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity Display
While holding the smartphone, you will be greeted by the huge gorgeous 6.1-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED infinity display. Under the hood, A41 is powered by MediaTek Octa-Core MT6768 Chipset with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM. As for storage, you will get 64GB of internal storage which is expandable via MicroSD card. There will be 3,500mAh of battery to juice the device which supports 15W of fast charging. Out of the box, it will be running Samsung OneUI 2.0 software overlaying Android 10 which should be snappy and familiar.
As for photography, A41's main camera setup utilizes vertical triple cameras cluster instead of the more popular rectangular ones that have been popping at the back of smartphones lately. The rear cameras are made up of a 48MP main shooter together with a 5MP depth sensor and 8MP ultra-wide lens. As for front-facing camera, there will be a 25MP selfie camera to help you snap all those beautiful selfies. Interestingly there is an in-display fingerprint scanner to help you have a more secure and quick login. On top of that A41 also comes with IP68 dust and water resistance.
Though Samsung Galaxy A41 has been announced officially, it will only be available in June 2020 perhaps due to the Covid 19 virus conundrum. Unfortunately, it will only be available exclusively in Japan through Docomo. With Samsung Galaxy A41 being priced at US$342 (RM1500), many will point out that it is way better to opt for Redmi Note 9 Pro Max priced at US$240 (RM1000) which runs on a Snapdragon Processor plus 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. What say you if you were a Japanese?
