High Hopes For The New Year 2019

Everyone needs a song to keep them motivated for the brand new year. Behold High Hopes by Panic! At The Disco to keep you moving and you know...climbing up a skyscraper. :D

The clock is ticking and the pendulum is swinging, are you guys ready for a brand new year? Well...ready or not, it will still come and go if you are not doing anything at all to take it by the horns. If you think (and feel) that year 2018 has been a pretty lousy year for you, I am sure you are not alone. That's why you need to make this brand new 2019 count for you. You had to have high hopes for yourself; More importantly you have to expect from yourself. :)

Personally I feel that my 2018 had been pretty terrible in terms of achievements as I honestly could have done more if not for my own procrastination and laziness. Moreover, I had actually allowed myself to indulge way too much for my own liking. My mobile game addiction was so bad that it had robbed me of my waking hours and sleeping hours. Damn! Instead of doing something productive, I ended up wasting my precious time.

Yupe! I will expect more from myself as well.

I have high hopes for myself this year. I am so going to try to be more productive and get rid of anything that is going to drag me down such as gaming and ouh yeah...I have another new bad habit that I had acquired towards the end the year-BINGE WATCHING on Netflix. Though it is not as "debilitating" as playing mobile games, I still think that I must not succumb to my temptations too much. Otherwise I will not be able to do a lot of things that I wanted such as blogging.

So I need to keep reminding myself not to be distracted by the pleasures which will erode me of my senses and of my most precious possession-time. By not playing too much mobile games or being consumed by those addictive TV series and movies on Netflix, I am sure I can focus more on doing the important things in life.  Hence I need to have something to pump me up like a song. And the song which is going to fire me up, keep me on my toes and fire all cylinders will be...HIGH HOPES!
