By now I am sure you have heard of this song at least...ONCE. I chanced upon this Paradise when I was checking out Fly FM's website. I have always been a fan of Coldplay as they are uniquely different from the other bands out there. Their Viva la Vida has captured the hearts of millions listeners both fans and neutrals. And now with this latest single of theirs-Paradise, I am darn positive that Coldplay can rule the charts again! So will Paradise emulate Viva la Vida and be the Song of the Year for Coldplay? It might just make the cut you know.

Have you "been" to this Paradise?

Paradise is the second single taken from Coldplay's 5th studio album known Mylo Xloto. which will be released today (24th of October 2011). What I love about Paradise is that it is very catchy and meaningful at the same time. The whole song delivers its purposeful message in a very subtle way. That is about the song...how about the visual part-the MTV? I gotta say that I was blown apart when I first watch it on Youtube. I couldn't believe that an elephant can be so charming in a music video. LOL :D

Our elephant friend who is homesick. Poor thing. :'(

The story (of the MTV) kicked off by showing an elephant which who misses his other elephant pals back in Africa. Hence this homesick elephant broke free from the zoo jail in London and embarked on an unbelievable journey back to his homeland. Through the subway and airplane, he managed to touch down in Africa. How did he do it? Find out by watching the MTV. Along the way he even busked for some money to buy a unicycle which he will ride to find his other trunky friends in the veld (South African Grassland). Guess what his elephant friends were doing?

How do you find this MTV? Simply mind-blowing right? Now blend the lyrics and the tunes of Paradise with the MTV...you will get a cheeky song exuding with so much charm. The part where this seemingly hopeless elephant managed to find his friends who were jamming on the veld certainly took the cake. Ha :D The whole song and MTV might be funny, but it is something that we can truly relate to. Don't you agree? Paradise reminds all of us that home is where we all yearn to be.
