The person who expects nothing will never be disappointed. Be brave and have no fear. If not when you turn around and look back on your life, you will regret the things you didn't dare to do more than the ones you have done. When you face a daunting, difficult task, tell yourself that nothing is impossible. If you are going to conquer the Mount Everest, don't forget to bring along your own flag baring your name. Here's something that you should remember: Never ever undertake a plan unless it is distinctly important and nearly impossible.

Don't Be Afraid To Be Disappointed
No fear

Ronald E. Osborn said, "Undertake something that is difficult, it will do you good. Unless you try to do something beyond what you have already mastered, you will never grow." How so true. Always remind yourself that not doing more than average is what keeps the average down and under. So are you an average? IMHO it is really difficult to say what truly is impossible, for what we take for granted today seemed impossible yesterday. Don't you agree?

A person who is afraid of doing too much always does too little or nothing at all. If you want to achieve all that is possible, we must first attempt the impossible. The best jobs haven't been found. The best work hasn't been done. Unless you take on more than you can possibly do, you will never do all that you can. Don't listen to naysayers who keep on discouraging you. You must believe in yourself and ignore what others say cant be done.

If Michelangelo had painted the floor instead of the ceiling of Sistine Chapel, I guess it would surely be rubbed out by now. All of us should always strive to aim high (really high), going after things that will make a difference, rather than seeking the safe path of mediocrity. Don't be bothered with small plans, because they motivate no one especially you. After Roger Bannister ran the first sub four-minute mile, 37 others followed suit within one year; and in 2 years, another 300 had also achieved his feat. You see, nothing is really impossible. And thinking high affects others.

If you expect nothing than you will never be disappointed. Is it? Come to think of it, the most disappointed people in the world are those who just wait at what is coming to them and do no more than that. There are a lot of ways to become a failure, but never taking a chance is the most successful way of them all. Are you one of them who never take chances? It is time to wake up. Don't be afraid to be disappointed!
