The new portable fire pit features the same drum-shaped design as the company's larger models, but comes in a much more compact size that fits on outdoor coffee tables, side tables, and bar tops. As a result of its size, it will also fit nicely on top of your indoor tables, although the company warns against using it indoors due to the fact that it burns extremely hot and creates a substantial fire that is unsafe in enclosed spaces.

The Solo Stove Mesa measures 5.1 x 6.8 inches (diameter x height) and has a cylindrical design that resembles an ice bucket when placed on any table. It functions similarly to its larger counterparts, accepting small pieces of wood that can fit in the main chamber as fuel, although you'll need to cut your firewood into much smaller pieces to fit it in this device. For increased versatility, it also includes an adapter for burning wood pellets, in case you already have a stockpile of these pellets for your backyard pellet grill.

Obviously, hot air will still collect underneath, so heat-sensitive materials should not be placed on top.
