I Got Covid-19 Finally

I thought I would not be infected by Covid-19 virus but I Got Covid-19 Finally. Guess it is becoming increasingly common for everyone to get it.

I thought I could evade its insidious attack after getting my 3 jabs of Covid-19 vaccines but it appears that is not the case. *sigh* I got Covid-19 finally! It is a bit disappointing to know that my immunity towards this contagious virus has waned. Obviously, the vaccine for Covid-19 only offers temporary protection at best.

Still, it is better than no protection or buffer in place at all, right? I can't complain though as my symptoms are relatively mild compared to the early victims who were not vaccinated. It all started with my incessant dry cough. Initially, I did not think too much of it as my job requires me to talk a lot. Perhaps, that is why I cough a lot?

That's why we should be wearing our mask(s) all the time!

After the continuous cough, lethargy started to kick in. At first, I thought was it because I did not clock in enough sleep? Then it worsened as if something was leeching out my battery. Soon, mini headaches started to jump in the back of my head and would sometimes transform into migraine-like punishers who kept banging on my head. The last "giveaway" was the onset of temperature-fever.

What Are The Symptoms of Covid-19?

I slapped another mask on my face to get triple protection before heading home. Upon arrival, I immediately tore open a saliva test kit and started to test to see if I am infected. Tick~tock~tick~tock! 20 minutes had passed and the dreaded double line indicated that I was indeed infected by Covid-19 virus. It was more like a verification and validation process, to be honest.

Perhaps We Need Booster Vaccine Jabs?

I am sad to be infected as this affects my work and daily life. Guess I should consider myself lucky as I only got Covid-19 now and not 2 years ago. Thank goodness it only happened after I got all 3 vaccine jabs to offer some sort of protection for me. Otherwise, I am sure that the symptoms could be far worse or even fatal.
