Today, I am going to share yet another amazing tabletop board game that revolves around our favourite heroes. Behold the Super Mario Blow Up Shaky Tower Game. Unlike the Piranha Plant Escape board game, you cannot rely on luck to be the winner of this game.

This Super Mario Blow Up Shaky Tower Game by Epoch Games is all about getting the right balance. Yupe! If you miscalculate your next move, you will end up "blowing up" the tower right before your eyes. Every move is risky, especially if you do not plan ahead. Sounds exciting right? Let's see what you will get in the box.

What's Inside The Box?

Just like the Super Mario Piranha Plant Escape board game, you will have Mario and Luigi as well. You will also be getting another 5 figures in the form of Red Toad, Yellow Toad, Goomba, Boo the ghost, and Yoshi the dinosaur. All of them look so adorable and lifelike if you ask me. Of course, there is the Shaky Tower with a curvy base (not flat!) and that is why it keeps on moving. Last but not least, is the huge red ball that will be tipped by any wrong move.

The goal of the game is to place all the figures on the step boards of the Shaky Tower without shaking it. 😂 It is a tough balancing act as each of the seven figures is different in terms of size and weight. So you will need to be really careful when you place each of them on the red step board. If you are not being gentle, you will lose. If you are not placing the figure at the right step board to balance the whole tower, you will lose.

Will the Tower Blow Up?

Jordan boy and Jasmine girl really enjoy this Super Mario Blow Up Shaky Tower Game as it really makes them use their brain and hands at the same time. They also need to analyze their placement or risk shaking the tower and unleashing the huge giant red ball! It's like you will have to know some maths or physics to be the winner in this game. Ha 😋

1. Gently place a figure on a step board.
2. The tower is going to shake, so be careful!
3. If a player makes the ball drop and the figures fly, they lose the game.

Two to four players can play this Super Mario Blow Up Shaky Tower Game. To make it more interesting, you can deliberately place the figure on the step board with the intention of shaking the tower just enough that you will not tip the huge, red ball. So the next person will need to be extra careful. Then again, this is a double-edged sword move. You can also add a 5-second timer to make this even more difficult and suspenseful.

It's an Exciting Balancing Game!

You will notice that there are actually 8 red step boards that we could attach to the Shaky Tower but we only have 7 figures. Thanks to the Epoch Games Link System, I could actually use one of the characters from my Super Mario Piranha Plant Escape board game. Brilliant right?
