I Am 37 Years Old-I Love To Grow Old

I am grateful to have survived for another year. So I am 37 Years old and I love to grow old knowing that I could see my wife and children as well.

After more than 2 years of the pandemic, I am thankful to say that I am still alive. Time flies and I am 37 years old right now. It is incredulous sometimes to think about how fleeting and merciless time can be, can't it? Instead of trying to go against it, I basically love hanging out with "father time". How about you?

Unlike others who are "terrified" of aging, I try to age like wine. I don't mind having more wrinkles on my face as it shows how much I have grown. I also love being able to see my black hair slowly turning into silver-white. To me, it is really an accomplishment or sort as I get to enjoy what life has brought me-living.

Growing Old is A Privilege

I am not going to slap my face with anti-aging cream! I am not going to take supplements that will make my skin flawless and whatnot. I am more than elated to be alive and experience the process of aging. I am not being cynical but I am really relishing getting older every single year. Think about it. Being able to get old means you get to live another year with your loved ones, no?

Gowing Old Means Growing With Your Family

Instead of spending hundreds or thousands buying products and supplements to look young, I would rather spend them on my wife and children. We could feast on amazing food and travel to our hearts' content. I strongly believe we should accept ourselves for who we are and live our life to the fullest. Don't you think that growing old is actually a privilege? Then again, it also means we should take good care of our health and stay fit.

More than anything else, I am happy to celebrate my 37th birthday with my beloved wife and 2 precious children. It is a blessing to witness how much my children have grown and for that to happen I need to get old too which I will gladly accept. I am grateful to God for giving me the best gifts in my life-my family. I hope He will be generous enough to let me live to see my grandchildren or perhaps great-grandchildren. So Happy Birthday to myself. LOL 😁
