In the day, the shoes look pretty minimalist in plain white and grey together with the green luminescence stripes. A more prominent strip of grey wraps around the toebox to give the shoe more durability and styling. Interestingly, translucent, colourless plastic is used for the construction of the midfoot cages and UltraBoost branded heel clips. The iconic Three Stripe graphics are of course added with some bright neon to give them more visibility during day time.

The midsoles of UltraBoost 5.0 "Glow" are made from full-fledged Boost and the outsoles are constructed from Continental rubber that will surely give you that added insulation and shock absorption when you hot the tarmac. A lone Adidas logo adorns the knit tongue to complete the package and give it its dashing look.

Once darkness sets in during nightfall or when you enter a dark place (duh!), the minimalist overlays then unleash its flurry of luminescence. I am really impressed with the warm green glow that the shoes are emanating in the dark. IMHO, it is not only cool but hauntingly beautiful at the same time. Hence, this pair of Adidas UltraBoost DNA 5.0 "Glow" shoes is highly recommended if you prefer to run in the dark. 😉 It is available with a price tag of US$180 (RM729).
