It is a building of ancient ruins of a district Police Station which was built in the year 1878 by a British officer, Captain Harry Charles Syers. It was then used as a center of Government and administration for the Selangor Sultanate. Now, the Jugra Insitu Museum serves as a museum with 3 exhibition halls containing interesting and educatinal historical views. There is no charge to enter this museum but taking pictures is strictly prohibited. Visitors can visit the museum from 9.30 am to 5.30 pm (Saturday to Thursday) and the opening hours are as follow: 9.30 am - 12 noon and continue at 2.45 pm to 5.30 (Friday).

2. ROYAL GALLERY SULTAN ABDUL AZIZ

Situated in Klang, Selangor, this Royal Gallery Sultan Abdul Aziz is about the history and life of the former Sultan of Selangor Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah. The museum building was constructed in the year 1909 as the Bangunan Sultan Sulaiman. Back then the British Government used the building as the Land Office and Administration Office of British Malaya. Do you know that the building was also used as the headquarters of the Japanese during the Japanese occupation in Malaya. In 1957 after the independence of Malaya, the building was used as the Klang District Office. Later on the 19th of October 2007, it officially converted into the Memorial Museum by Sultan Sharafuddin. The gallery Sultan Abdul Aziz is open from Tuesday until Sunday. It is open from 10 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.. However it will be closed on Monday and public holidays. Admission is free.

3. KUALA SELANGOR MUSEUM

4. KAJANG HERITAGE CENTRE

A lot of Malaysians will relate Kajang to their popular satay Kajang, but do you know that the establishment of Kajang city is actually the result of tin mining and rubber cultivation? Back in the 1850s, Hulu Langat District was the first place for tin mining in Rekoh. Towkay Chin Ah Chan got the permission from Sultan Abdul Samad to open a tin mine in Bukit Arang in the year 1868. Interestingly, the Mandailing immigrants from Sumatra were the pioneers in opening up forest land in Kajang. 5. SULTAN ALAM SHAH MUSEUM

This museum is the main embodiment of cultural heritage and development in the State of Selangor with mesmerising Minangkabau architecture and design. The museum was established in 1974 and was named after Sultan Hisamuddin Alam Shah, the 7th sultan of Selangor. The museum features prehistoric artifacts of early human settlements as well drum fragments from the Bronze Age (Dong Son) which dated back to 600 BC. In fact, this museum also tells the history of Selangor from the time of the Portuguese, Bugis, Dutch, Melaka and Johor Sultanate until Independence Day. Now, the museum can be visited for free and is open from Tuesday to Sunday only from 9.30 am to 5.30 pm.
