Happy 10th Birthday Jordan Boy

Jordan boy you are one year older now! Time flies and you are now a decade old. It felt like yesterday you were still in your baby cot, waiting for us to scoop you up and cradle you in our arms. In a blink of an eye, you are now a big boy and an elder brother. Another 2 more years in primary school and you will be heading to secondary school *gasp*! Your mother and I really hope that we could slow time down a little bit so that we can enjoy every waking moment with you and your sister.

Still, we are happy to see you growing up to be a fine and well-behaved son and brother. We are glad that you are a happy and healthy boy~Jordan. Honestly speaking, unlike your naughtier and often over-pampered sister you have always strive to be a role model for her. You are really an obedient son who will always do your best to listen to both mommy and daddy; For that we are really grateful. Must be the prenatal education whereby mommy and daddy read your lots of stories when you were still in the womb. LOL 😁

So did you enjoy your birthday party the other day? I am sure you did right judging by the looks on your face. Remember that your birthday is always about your mother who risked her life to give you your life ok! Hence you must always celebrate your special day with your beloved mother first before throwing a party with your friends or anyone in the future. In fact I have always reminded him that birthday is supposed to be about merriment and celebration with your family all the time.

Birthday celebration should always be a bit more in excess compared to the normal days right? And we need to have tones of food to indulge in during birthday so we ordered his usual favourite fast food for his big day with pizzas and fried chickens. Of course~daddy did not forget to make sure that the crusts of your pizzas are stuffed with oozing cheese, the way you always love it. How about your fried chickens? Must be finger licking too I am sure.

Of course your loving mommy had also ensured that you got to enjoy the traditional vermicelli served with red egg. This symbolic customary dish signifies that you are one year older and may you be blessed with good health and of course longevity. I am sure you loved your birthday cake as well right? Your mother went out of her way despite working from home to craft you an artisan oreo chocolate moist cake with Ferrero Rocher chocolate balls. It was really delicious and amazingly chocolatey. You indulged in a few servings which go to show it was really good. 😋

Then it was time to unwrap your gifts right Jordan boy. Despite reminding him that his birthday is not primarily about him, of course we did not deprive him the joy and excitement that come with birthday. Besides getting a few Ang Pow (red packets), Jordan boy also received a Geronimo Stilton story book and of course his favourite toys-Fafnir BeyBlade, a Beyblade Toolbox and a launcher! He was really elated to get the latest original Tomy Takara Fafnir Beyblade to go together with his other Beyblades. We could see him gleefully putting all his Beyblades into his new toolbox. A lucky kid indeed!

Remember that your birthday is about your mother's gamble with her life!

We will be celebrating more birthdays in the future Jordan boy. Don't forget to celebrate your big day every year with your family especially your mother ok. For now~enjoy playing with your toys and read your story book. Always be the dependable brother and filial son that you have always been ok.
