Happy Valentine's Day 2019 To My Wifey

It is Valentine's Day again and here I am buying a simple gift and giving my beloved wife an origami rose that I have made on my own. :)

Can you smell it? *Sniff Sniff* The sweet scent of love is hanging densely in the air-perforating every single breath that we take; Making you feel that you want to be swept off your feet. It is the 14th of February again and lovebirds, husbands and wives and would be lovers will be relishing the magic that this meaningful day brings. To yours truly me, this day is important as it is a special occasion for me to celebrate the love of my life. :)

Today was kinda hectic for me as I had work as usual until 5:30p.m. Then I rushed home after picking up my 2 little babies from their after school care. On the way back home, I needed to remind my wife not to cook and this was supposed to be her day off (Still she cooked two bowls of meatballs noodles for her babies). I floored the gas as much as I could...-OK! This sounded wrong. Correction: We headed home safe and sound as quickly as we could and then straight away I went out  again on my bike to buy pizzas from Domino's for the whole family. :)

We really had a feast and of course we were stuffed to the max like Christmas Turkeys. Ha :D After that we chit chatted and spent time together watching our favourite TVB drama. Then we accompanied our little babies to play firecrackers before retreating to our bedroom. It appeared that our day was going to end until I drew out my gifts for my wife. They were a book and a red origami rose. My wife loves her gifts so much especially her new everlasting flower. She actually warned me not to buy any real rose that will eventually wilt last night...so yeah I heeded her advice and I spent some time learning how to fold an origami version of the flower. LOL :D

An everlasting bloom. :)

That's all for my simple but meaningful Valentine's Day. How about yours? I hope everyone will be loving and be loved unconditionally on this very special day. George Sand said it best-There is only one happiness in life-to love and be loved. If your love has not appeared yet, it simply means that He believes you deserve someone better and more special. After all, nothing worthwhile comes easily. So...again Happy Valentine's Day to everyone. :)
