After Samsung Galaxy S5 has flopped, many people (like me) are waiting for a real flagship from big Sammy. Samsung has earlier launched its very first metal smartphone-Galaxy Alpha, to stop its declining market share. However Samsung knows that it will need more than that to reclaim its throne. That is why Samsung is firing full cylinders with its latest launch of Galaxy Note 4. It's like a make or break moment for Big Sammy.
Samsung will be unleashing its popular phablet-Galaxy Note 4 on the 3rd of September, by asking us to "Note the date for an Unpacked event". The rumours mills have been going full throttle about Note 4 with its 3-sided display, which slopes on the left and right sides to allow unique functionality. Too far-fetched? Not really. It does sound very doable and very logical as Big Sammy really needs something new and out-of-the-box to ensure that it will be the Alpha of the packs!
Samsung has recently launched 2 promo videos for Samsung Galaxy Note 4 in China, but it doesn't reveal the new expected Note 4. Instead the the 2 short videos played up last year's Note 3. The short video focuses on a young Chinese family. The husband and wife was involved in a fight and the she stormed out of the house. The husband then uses his Note 3, and a little help from their son, to win back his wife. The last scene shows the family sitting around the dinner table with the words “Galaxy Note 4″ right in front of them. Hmm...makes me really wonder what Note 4 will really look like.
According to the latest rumors, Galaxy Note 4 is expected to pack a Quad HD display, a Snapdragon 805 processor, a 16-megapixel camera, 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage with microSD support. Galaxy Note 4 is also likely to introduce at least one crazy new feature like an ultrasound S Pen or a built-in eye-scanner. I believe the former is more likely to be featured this time around. I hope it will surprise us this time and will not be a let down like S5. Can't wait for Note 4 to come on the 3rd of September. :)
Samsung wants to win our hearts...
