I am a big fan of Bigbang and I think their Blue, Fantastic Baby, and Monster are all damn amazing Korean songs sang so perfectly that even a noob listener like me who don't know Korean enjoy them so much. Unfortunately I cannot say the same about other Korean bands as most of them can't even sing. In fact I find a lot of them really irritating and disturbing to say the least. However a few weeks ago I discovered a diamond in the rough-2NE1's I Love You! I was immediately swept off my feet when I heard I Love You by 2NE1. It's like I am instantly in love with the song, seriously!

2NE1-I Love You

As you know, it is a rarity that I love to listen to Korean songs. The moment my delicate ear drums reacted to the beats of this melodious, catchy I Love You, I was so hooked up! This song is released last year, on the 5th of July 2012...I wonder why it took me that long to stumble upon this beautiful song. This pop song has all the ingredients to be "legendary" at least by Korean standards. In fact I Love You has been mentioned in the same breath as David Guetta, especially the use of synths and "ghostly" background vocals.

The song started off very, very SEXILY! Damn! The way she laid on the pillow whispering the song makes me feel so tantalized! I like how the video was shot. I Love You is wrapped with the unmistakable enigma to it that makes you feel like you wanna be part of the video...as if you are in the video. Although it starts off quite slowly, the whole song begins to build is momentum soon and in no time you will be tapping your feet and singing along (at least the "I love you" part). Musical arrangement is spot on with the "rapping" part weaved in beautifully. Coupled with the hauntingly catchy voice and lyrics...voila! You get a masterpiece in the form of I Love You!
