Death toll of the ferocious tsunami victims keep on increasing! As least 10,000 Japanese are said to be dead already. Last Friday's tragedies have caused such a devastating torment to the people in the Land of Rising Sun. Millions of people are wandering around without water, food or heating in the near-freezing temperature. The magnitude 8.9 (which was later adjusted to 9.0) offshore quake unleashed a shattering 23-foot (7 metres) tsunami which bulldozed virtually everything and everyone in its path without any mercy! The worst yet to come then...the people there were further terrorized by at least 150 aftershocks (most of them were more than magnitude 6.0) for hours. Can you even imagine?

Only ruins are left...

Everything looks grim and hopeless at the moment; Even for Japan who is used to earthquakes, this was of horrific proportions because of the violent tsunami that crashed ashore, devouring everything in its way as it surged several miles (kilometers) inland before retreating. The apocalyptic pictures and videos of the rampant, surging water broadcasted resembled scenes from disaster movies. I can't even imagine myself being near Japan right now! And now...the nuclear reactors are said to have leaked and in highly unstable condition. Looks like there is no end to these unfortunate events. :(

How will the survivors stand up again?

I truly hope this horrendous inferno will come to an end soon. Too many lives have been lost. I don't think the people there can take it anymore. Certainly Mother Nature is really angry and She has shown us her wrath! I hope She will spare the people in Japan and allow all of us a chance to repent. Likewise my prayer is with everyone in Japan. May it be a stern warning from Her albeit a cruel one. May it be light for all of us after this tragedy...
