Red! Red! Red! If you are in Malaysia, you should have noticed that all the red lanterns are dangling here and there right now. It is a norm that we hang our red lanterns during Chinese New Year. As for our family, the ones we bought a few years ago were damaged already. So a few days ago, daddy, my dearest missus and I went out to hunt for a pair of two big red lanterns. We went to Bunga Raya (Hibiscus) Road which was the most popular place in Malacca during the 80s. Before Chinese new Year, this road will be flooded with throngs of people and cars. They will be here to hunt for Chinese New Year deco and goodies.

I love lanterns!

There are a lot of shops along Bunga Raya for you to purchase your lanterns and other Chinese New Year goodies. You will be torn by all the varieties of lantern at your disposal. They come in so many shapes and sizes. But before you buy any of them, make sure you have surveyed the prices at the other shops ok. And yeah, DON'T FORGET to bargain the price. If you are really good, you can even get what you want at rock bottom price. Ha :D

I really, really love lanterns. So whenever it is Chinese New Year, I hope my home will be decorated with as many red lanterns as possible. They are really beautiful. :)
