Beyonce Dominates 2010 52nd Grammy With 6 Awards!

This time around Beyonce turned the table against Taylor Swift. Beyonce certainly dominated the 52nd Grammy award with a record-breaking 6 awards. The awards that this R&B songstress picked up are: Song of The Year (Single Ladies), Best Female Pop Vocal Performance, Best Female R&B Vocal Performance, Best Traditional R&B Vocal Performance, Best R&B Song, and best contemporary R&B album. Goodness! How come all the awards sound so similar to me? :/ But no one can deny that Beyonce ruled this Grammy. I'm sure Taylor Swift didn't mind playing second-fiddle with 4 awards.

Beyonce's Single Ladies won the Song of The Year award, much to my amazement. I thought Single Ladies is just a so-so song. Nothing to shout about really. Perhaps I can't feel the song because I am not a single lady? Then again there's not much substance to this song. I guess Beyonce won over the critics, fans and voters with her bootylicious dance again? It is catchy...but not very meaningful, at least IMHO. Single Ladies pipped Poker Face (Lady Gaga), Pretty Wings (Hot David), Use Somebody (Kings of Leon) and You Belong With Me to be Song of The Year (Taylor Swift). Song of The Year!

Single Ladies? Song of the year? Nah...certainly not my cup of tea. At times I thought Beyonce's songs rely more on her looks than her voice. Don't you agree? A lot of people like to look at her (MTV) rather than listen to her right? I thought Use Somebody deserve to be crowned Song of The Year. Too bad. Anyway here's the Song of The Yeeeeeeeeerrrrrrr...
