I'm sure you guys heard about endangered species right? Right now we are not talking about other species. Today I would like to share with you guys-The Endangered Man. The Endangered Man is a type of man whose existence is really rare in this world. But first let's talk about the sins that men do. And these men are the complete opposite of the Endangered Man.
Ever since the time of our forefathers, many men have been promiscuous. Some blame it on the genetics citing that it's an edge for survival. Is it so? Perhaps it's true...if it's eons ago. But right now that's just one stupid excuse for men who betray their wives. Some men don't even feel the slightest guilt for doing so. Some are even darn proud planting their seeds at almost everywhere!
I, myself have seen a few of my relatives who turn their backs on their faithful wives. Even a handful of Muslim men (no disrespect) who already have a tender loving wife which does everything right; from taking care of the house to continuing their lineage; did not reward their wife with faithfulness. They will never be satisfied. These men abuse their right and fulfill their lust for more flesh and beauty! They are unfaithful, and simply a symbol of shame on this earth.
The shame!
Spitzer, the prominent former New York governor who made headlines for having escorts (hooker) now and then is just a few of the unfaithful men who was "unlucky" to be uncovered. Former US president Bill Clinton even cheated his wife Hilarry a few times at their very own home. And of course we Malaysian have our very own villain too-Chua Sok Lek who was caught red handed in a sex act with his so-called "close-friend". Why can't these men keep their pants up? Why can't they be just like the endangered man?
So who is this endangered man? The name is Liu GuoJiang. This is a true love story that had touched millions across the globe. This 70 years old Chinese hand-crafted 6,000 stairs up a mountain for his 80 years old wife. Their vividly heart-felt tale began half a century ago when Liu GuoJiang (then 20) fell in love with a widowed mother Xu Chaoqing (her wife). Back then it's a taboo for a younger guy to marry an older woman, more so if the woman is a widow and have a few children.
Will you do this?
Amid all those pouring critics and scorns from their communities, the pair then traveled and live in a cave in Jiangjin County, which is located at the southwest China's Chongqing Municipality. There's nothing for them in the cave, not even any electricity. During the beginning of their life together, Xu repeatedly asked Liu whether he regrets his decision because their life was really harsh back then. And guess what Liu said? Liu always replied, "As long as we are industrious, life will improve." Not many men will endure such test. Liu was indeed the man that every woman would pray for. He was. Unfortunately Xu had to watch his devoted husband breathed his last air last year. But I'm sure he went with no regrets for he had always loved her whole-heartedly.
He is gone. But he is legend!
Their story touched me even in the deepest recesses of my heart and soul. Truly it does. LiuGuoJiang unconditional love for his wife should be emulated by all men in this world. Being faithful is a choice. Ultimately you are the one who decide if you will go back and sleep beside your wife. Being faithful is all in the mind.

My wife is the one and only women that I love in this world. And she's the only woman who I will sleep on the bed with every night. I will emulate Liu and reward my wife with my faithfulness too. How about you guys? I am going to be the Endangered Man too!
