My 3 New Year’s Resolutions for 2025

Ah, the New Year—a time when fresh opportunities beckon, and hopeful resolutions lay the groundwork for a fantastic journey ahead. As I pen down my very first blog post of the year on this bright 4th of January, I find myself teetering between enthusiasm and responsibility. It's an eccentric dance of duty and delight, but one I navigate with an open heart, especially as a devoted father and husband. My life spins around three precious pillars—my beloved wife and our dynamic trio: Jordan, Jasmine, and the apple of our eyes, our soon-to-be-one-year-old, Jadiel.

This year’s focus is succinct but profound. Here are my 3 New Year’s resolutions for 2025:

1. Be Happier

In 2025, my overarching mantra is to sprinkle happiness like confetti. Happiness, you see, is not just an emotion—it's a choice. Being happily married and having three wonderful kids, happiness should flow as seamlessly as their laughter in our household. Jordan, Jasmine, and baby Jadiel are my tangible blessings. Their cheerfulness fuels my determination to look past the occasional drudgery of a less-than-stellar job. My wife’s unwavering support is my anchor, reminding me that there's always a silver lining, and frankly, that's them—my family. So, this year, I resolve to smile more, laugh often, and simply be—to concoct happiness, especially for them.

2. Be Healthier

There's a peculiar ring to turning 40—officially entering middle age feels like being inducted into a new club, the Club of Seasoned Sanctity. It's a wake-up call, a reminder that vitality isn’t just a wish but a necessity if I am to be the steadfast steward of this household. I refuse to be a liability to my loved ones. It's time to replace couch lounging with invigorating jogs, relish the crunch of a fresh salad over comfort food, and prioritize health to truly relish life’s treasures. Being the best husband and dad isn't merely about presence but also about being present in the prime of health—mind, body, and spirit.

3. Being Extremely Rich

Yes, you read that right. This year, I aim to be richer than King Midas! Financial security is fundamental, not just for the lifestyle it affords but for the peace it guarantees. I dream of bustling family vacations, Saturday strolls with ice-cream treats, and heartfelt gifts for times when words fall short. Ensuring my children, the bold Jordan, the radiant Jasmine, and little explorer Jadiel, receive the education they deserve is paramount, as is joyously preparing for my retirement. But how do I achieve this? By seizing every opportunity, venturing into unexplored avenues, and diversifying income streams till financial independence is not just a distant star, but our guiding moonlight.

In conclusion, 2025 beckons with its promises of joy, wellness, and wealth, not merely for fleeting moments but embedded in our everyday lives. It’s a tapestry where I plan to weave happiness, share laughter, bolster health, and enrich our lives not just financially, but in experiences and memories that last a lifetime.

Here’s to a year where dreams follow the beat of audacity, and where each step I take as a father and husband leads to a path less trodden yet uniquely mine. Cheers to 2025!

Let's make this year count—starting by living, loving, and laughing louder than ever.

Happy New Year!
