It should no longer be a mystery that electric vehicle manufacturer Tesla will have an official presence in Malaysia. There are 10 job titles available at Tesla Malaysia right now! Yes! Tesla Malaysia is hiring and you can now work for Elon Musk right in our country. The Minister of International Trade and Industry posted a welcome message on Twitter last month and now the company has a page listing positions available in Malaysia.
Tesla Malaysia Is Hiring
Malaysia is now included in the Location drop-down menu on the Tesla Careers page. There are ten employment titles across five categories, ranging from engineering and information technology to operations and sales. And they're all in Kuala Lumpur, which is likely an expected location for a local office and showroom, or at least the first of several.
All Vacancies Will Be in Kuala Lumpur
It seems like the natural progression for the company to take the next step now. As was previously noted, the Malaysian Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) gave its blessing last month to the importation of battery electric vehicles (BEV). Together with the establishment of experience and service centres, the organisation will also be creating a head office as part of this process. In addition, there will, of course, be a Supercharger network for the automobiles that will be sold in the immediate area, in addition to a network for our neighbours to the north and south.

1. Construction / Real Estate Manager
The Project Manager will oversee new office, store and service centre development, refresh and renovation projects for Tesla. 2. IT Desktop Support Technician
Tesla is currently seeking a Desktop Support Technician to join our team in Malaysia. This position within the IT Operations team will be on the front lines of Tesla’s IT support. Via Phone and Ticketing system. The primary task of this position will be to troubleshoot and resolve endpoint issues, install and support the systems, and assist with the day-to-day operations of Tesla’s global IT infrastructure to support the growth of Tesla’s initiatives. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of new program and vendor management experience. Delivery is a very exciting time for customers who are preparing to take ownership of their Tesla. The Delivery Operation Specialist serves as a liaison between the local delivery and support teams to consistently and professionally prepare for customer deliveries. 6. Consumer Engagement Manager
Tesla is looking for a Consumer Engagement Manager to support the Consumer Engagement organization with various responsibilities including content creation, lead generation and retail consumer events in Malaysia. The Order Operations Specialist is a member of the Malaysia Order Operations team and participates in order management, payments and compliance in support of vehicle sales and deliveries. This is a back-end operations role and is not customer-facing. Previous to that, the business had included Tesla Sdn. Bhd. as a subsidiary in the annual report it produced for the fiscal year 2022. In the past, this location was known as Tesla Services Sdn. Bhd., which did not deal in the sale of electric vehicles but rather served as a Financial Shared Service Centre for the company, managing the accounting and financial aspects of the company's operations in the EMEA and Asia Pacific areas.
