1. Open Restaurant

IMHO, Open Restaurant is one of the most exciting restaurant games that I have played at Culinary Schools. I am impressed with the design of the Open Restaurant game as it looks clean and professional. It is like you have your own restaurant right before your eyes and you will be the one who literally runs it.

In this game, you will be in charge of seating your customers, taking their orders, serving their food, and last but not least collecting payments from them. Sounds easy? Wait till you have a lot, a lot of customers waiting for you to serve them. The game is really exhilarating and the key is to remain calm and follow the "mechanics"; Then you will have lots of delighted customers and earn lots of money from them.

2. Penguin Cafe

So my children saw me chilling while enjoying Open Restaurant. They were really intrigued to join me to be restaurant owners too. So instead of letting them start with what I have played, I told them to start with Penguin Cafe first. Similar to Open Restaurant, you will need to serve customers based on what they order.

The game itself is really simple and fun. Nothing beats a few adorable penguins ordering food from you, right? The whole game is beautifully designed and you do feel like you are in Antarctica, running your own restaurant to serve your fellow fluffy friends. My kids truly love to play these restaurant games for sure!

3. Bunnicula's Kaotic Kitchen Game

Another wacky restaurant game that I have introduced to my kids is Bunnicula's Kaotic Kitchen Game. As the name suggests, you will be seeing a rabbit with wings (and fangs) flapping around the kitchen to do some cooking. 😂 Don't worry as this Bunnicula is pretty friendly despite its rather peculiar look.

My children enjoy playing this game as they need to memorize the ingredients needed to cook the dishes. The game itself is challenging as the ingredients needed appear to be in silhouette, so you really need to make out what is needed or it will start to be pretty chaotic in the kitchen.

So from the virtual kitchen (the games), my children and I moved to our kitchen to start experimenting with measurement cups and tablespoons. This is really fun if you ask me.
