Happy 12th Birthday Jordan Boy

Our Jordan is now 12th years old. This is how we celebrated his birthday with him. Happy 12th Birthday Jordan Boy. I am sure you love your presents.

Earlier this month, our son Jordan boy celebrated his 12th birthday! OMG! Time really does fly and just 12 years ago, I was in the labour room with my wife to welcome him. It felt like yesterday and this decade with him has been surreal and really fulfilling.

His birthday was on a weekday and that meant we had to rush him home after his post-school lessons to celebrate his big day. Instead of celebrating in a fancy restaurant, Jordan boy insisted that he wanted to celebrate his birthday at home. He had valid reasons for this.

What To Eat For Birthday Dinner?

If he were to have his party in a restaurant, he would only be able to enjoy food from one single eatery. At home, we could purchase all his favourite dishes from different restaurants and places. Eventually, Jordan boy got to indulge in Pizzas, Nuggets, and Satay just to name a few. Why stick to one when you can have more, right? 😁

Let's dig in!

The moment we reached home, I immediately rode my motorbike and headed out to 3 different destinations to order our spread of "birthday dinner". First, I went to Domino's Pizza to order 2 large pizzas. Then I headed to McDonald's to purchase a huge box of nuggets before dropping by at a nearby Satay restaurant to grab 30 sticks of our pre-ordered satays. Then I returned to Domino's Pizza before making my way back home.

Waiting for me was our birthday boy. In no time, we had started our birthday feast. For his 12th birthday, we decided to get him a fancier cake which still tasted really good. It was a beautifully crafted edible Golden Teddy Bear cake from Chef K with lots of confectionary decorations and LED lights. Jordan boy was of course very elated with his special birthday cake and his smile said it all. 😊

Birthday is about Family!

No matter how old you are, you will always be our big baby boy!

We all had a great time enjoying our food but I guess we had ordered a bit too much for the capacity of our stomachs. Then again, it was really a memorable day for us to sit down, and chomp down on delicious food while yakking away about our daily life and ramblings. Time spent with your loved ones is always priceless and precious, especially when it is on a birthday!

It's Time For Birthday Presents!

No birthday is ever complete without gifts, right? Of course, we will never deprive our children of their  presents on their big day. And that means we showered our Jordan boy with lots of gifts. He received his usual Geronimo Stilton's hardcover storybook, a Beyblade launcher, a Pokemon jacket, and a mini drone! I believe he deserves every single one of his birthday presents as he has always been an awesome son and a great brother.

Don't Forget Your Mother Who Gave Birth To You

Again, Happy 12th Birthday to you Jordan boy. You have been a very loving son and an exemplary brother, to say the least. You are a bit mischievous from time to time but you have always tried your best in everything that you are doing both academically and in co-curricular activities. At home, you are always helpful and thoughtful to both daddy, mommy, and your little sister. We all love you and we will always be proud of you.
