California is a massive state, and it’s going to take you some time to hit all of the top spots in the state. If you are visiting California then you will likely want to choose between Los Angeles, San Diego, or San Francisco.

3. Colorado

The Rocky Mountains are one of the biggest mountain ranges in the World, and you will be able to view them regardless of where you are in the state. Skiing is obviously a major draw to Colorado, but this is also a state that has some terrific cities as well.

5. Hawaii

Not much really has to be said when it comes to Hawaii as this is one of the most beautiful places in the World. Of course, you are going to have to pay more to visit Hawaii than some of the other states on the list, but it is going to be worth it.

While Hawaii will be one of the most expensive places to visit, Wyoming will be the exact opposite. Wyoming is a state that has a very small population, and it’s also one that is filled with National Parks.
