The hue of the "Light Side Edition" is based on Kenobi's renowned garment. A blue line on the side of the helmet recalls his lightsaber, while the chrome upper piece alludes to spacecraft.

Will you choose light?

The glossy black and matte black exterior of the 'Dark Side Edition' resembles Darth Vader's armour, while a red line across the vehicle represents his crimson lightsaber, which is enhanced with red underbody illumination.

According to the brilliant designers at Volkswagen, the two "intergalactic" cars represent the combination of two icons. For starters, Obi-Wan Kenobi signified the return of the mainstay classic Star Wars characters; The second is the rebirth of Volkswagen Bus which is literally a cult and living myth that is now entering a new era of electromobility thanks to the ID Buzz.
