Happy Mother's Day 2022

Happy Mother's Day 2022 to my one and only wife. Our kids made her cards and baked her a chocolate cake. We had Japanese food for our luncheon.

It's Mother's Day again and this will be the day moms around the world will be celebrated even more for their devotions and unconditional love for their beloved children. Hereby, I would love to wish the mother to my children, "Happy Mother's Day 2022!" Today will be the day she will get even more rest and of course, no cooking will be done by her on my watch. 😁

Usually falls on the second Sunday of May, Mother's Day is the day we commemorate the most important women in our life be it our grandma, mother or wife. Today will be the day when all mothers will get 24 hours of rest. It is a day off for mothers to recharge and rejuvenate.

Since today is a big day for my wife, both Jordan boy and Jasmine girl woke up early to make personalized cards for her. Though their artwork left much to be desired (IMHO 😂), in their mother's eyes they are like Picasso. Of course, she is very happy to receive hand-made mother's day cards from them.

Besides cards, my wife also received a chocolate cake from her daughter. Jasmine girl baked a moist chocolate cake for her darling mommy from scratch. Of course, she needed lots of guidance from her doting mother. Then again, her willingness to learn and her talents in baking really resembles her mother. She can definitely bake better than me like a million times! 😊

Our Japanese Luncheon at Nippon Sushi Restaurant

We had a great feast!

Cooking is not allowed for my wife today, so we brought her to try some Japanese food at Nippon Sushi in Ayer Keroh Melaka. This is a halal-certified Japanese restaurant in Melaka, so the menu is kind of different from our usual Japanese food. Overall, the ambience and service are top-notch, to say the least. My wife was satisfied with her Japanese luncheon and I am relieved that she does.

All in all, it had been a great mother's day for my wife. I want to thank my wife for being such an amazing, devoted mother to our two little ones. She is really a dedicated mother who has always put our 2 babies before herself. Our children are always her number 1 priority and that is why both Jordan boy and Jasmine girl love him so much. Of course, I am lucky to have her as my one and only wife. Happy Mother's Day 2022 to you.
