It is the brand new year of 2022 and U Mobile has announced the launch of its latest U Mobile Prepaid Unlimited Plans, which, as you might imagine from the name, provide almost limitless data usage. For the purpose of clarification, we used the term "virtually" because some plans actually have a ceiling restriction, which is set by their Fair Usage Policy (FUP).

Those who require greater speeds, on the other hand, can sign up for the U35 plan, which costs RM35 per month and provides up to 6Mbps download speed with a maximum data transfer limit of 100GB.

Once users have met their individual FUP, their speed will be limited to 512Kbps, despite the fact that there is no usage cap for browsing while under throttling. However, being throttled while using your data Internet sounds like no fun at all right? The U25 plan, on the other hand, does not include a hotspot allocation, whereas the U35 plan has a 3GB hotspot allocation that can only be enabled through smartphones.

Another new and fascinating aspect of these new U Mobile Unlimited Prepaid plans is that consumers will also receive a 1-hour Speed Boost, which they can redeem through the MyUMobile app on a daily basis, in addition to the 1-hour Speed Boost.
