If you ask me I would say that it is increasingly difficult and challenging to be a kid these days. Their art lessons and school homework can be quite daunting. Just the other day, my daughter Jasmine girl had to do an art project called "Snow White and The 7 Dwarfs" to be submitted in 7 days. This is not just your ordinary draw-and-colour art homework. It is more than that.

First and foremost, she had to draw and colour the backdrop that will be the stage for her Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs. Knowing the setting would be a forest, she drew lots of trees and set a slightly dark "tone" for the ambiance. Perhaps that could help to draw the focus to the protagonist and her 4 sidekicks.

After the backdrop was done, Jasmine girl needed to craft the terrain as well so that the whole fairytale setup looks more complete. Then she "built" an out-of-proportion cottage of the dwarfs which towers high over the backdrop. It looks more like the tower for Rapunzel if you ask me. LOL 😂

Last but not least, she made cutouts of the main star-Snow White, and her cheerful 7 dwarfs which would be accompanying her. Snow White looks somewhat like a Japanese process wearing a kimono if you ask me. Ha 😁 Her 7 dwarfs are perfect as they look exactly like well...dwarfs-small in size and built. They do remind me of Santa though.

Can you spot the yellow bird and the equally yellowish rabbit?

Besides the princess and her 7 sidekicks, Jasmine girl had also decided to add 2 more critters to make the whole forest look livelier. A rabbit and a bird made it into her list and both of them had surely made the whole Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs Craft more believable. I am proud of our Jasmine girl and I thought her masterpiece was really brilliant.

They look so happy, right?

The whole project did take her a few days to complete and this is just one of her many weekly art assignments. Gosh! Still, it is good to see that her school teachers are doing everything in their might to make sure that stay-at-home kids still do their homework and assignment. So do you like this Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs Craft by Jasmine girl?
