Last season's NBA Rookie of The Year-LaMelo Ball was given the opportunity by Puma to launch his very own signature shoe (or is it the other way round?). Introducing Puma LaMelo Ball MB.01 Sneakers which I thought is a beautiful pair of basketball shoes. In fact, this is actually the first pair of basketball shoes from Puma that I know of.

Puma LaMelo Ball MB.01 Sneakers

Puma LaMelo Ball MB.01 Sneakers were first seen being worn by the skilful point guard during the Summer League of 2021. However, only now that this pair of sneakers has been officially unveiled by Puma. Though there are a few stark black accents on the shoes, most of them were dominated by bold, maroon red colour.

The choice of colour also exudes LaMelo's flamboyant personality together with his playing styles. You will notice the beautiful elements such as the flame outlines that fired out from the ankle collars to wrap around his much-adorned ankle rocket tattoo. That's a way to make a statement right? The shoes become an extension of your body and in this case his feet.

It is really rare to see basketball shoes from Puma

The forefoot of LaMelo Ball Mb.01 saw the outline of the Puma stripe while the "1-of-1" notations could be seen plastered on the tongues. Inside the red-tinted outsoles, you will find the word "Rare" while the phrase "Not From Here" which is LaMelo's motto graces the throat of the shoes.

I thought the whole package of the footwear look really fantastic and I personally dig the fiery red accents which will definitely be selling like hot cakes during Chinese New Year as it is an auspicious colour, no?
