So what did you have for Mother's Day? Here are 6 Different Food For Mother's Day that my wife had. It was a day for food indulgence indeed.

Last Sunday was Mother's Day and it was a day off for my wife, meaning that she did not have to cook not prepare anything for all of us. Instead, we were the ones who would be serving her with food. These are the 6 different food for Mother's Day that my wife got to indulge in. Though not the usual buffets spread that we have had, it was a great day to stuff her silly.

6 Different Food For Mother's Day

1. Chocolate Cake

Despite our pleas for her not to do any cooking or baking on that day, my wife insisted that she wanted to bake a cake for our late mother to commemorate her on Mother's Day. Being the filial daughter-in-law that she is, she baked a chocolate cake using my late mom's recipe. I am sure that my mommy will be touched. We truly enjoyed the cake which was really chocolatey and scrumptious.

2. Kuih Keria Antarabangsa Melaka

First up was her favourite Kuih Keria Antarabangsa which happens to be one of the most famous tourist food in Melaka. Yes, those who visit Melaka must try this sweet ring-like delicacy. Crispy and sweet on the outside and jolly soft on the inside. This is perfect for binge-eating sweet bites as we drive around, sightseeing in our beloved state. Certainly, my wife loved every bite of it as it had been a while since we last had some due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

3. Sushi Wafu

For lunch, we had decided to dine in one of the more affordable sushi restaurants near our home. Though it is not the high-end Japanese restaurant that we enjoy patronizing, Sushi Wafu still serves delicious Japanese food that the whole family will love at cheaper prices. We particularly love the ambiance and the "bottomless" ice cream that we walloped non-stop. Wifey really had a feast as she is a Japanese food lover like all of us in the family. Ha 😁

4. Yomie's Rice Yoghurt Drinks

After eating food from the land of Rising Sun, we headed to another favorite place of ours-Yomie's Rice Yoghurt. Those who want a healthier choice of beverages besides bubble milk tea really need to try the unbelievably tasty Yomie's Rice Yoghurt Drinks. Our number 1 choice is of course their best-selling Purple glutinous rice yogurt drink. Wifey was very pleased to sip the yoghurt and "eat" the purple glutinous rice from Taiwan. Burrpp! 😁

5. McDonald's Nasi Lemak

As for dinner, I had ordered my wife's favourite Nasi Lemak Mekdi. It was a delightful sight, seeing my wife enjoying her comfort food. She loves the lip-smacking sambal that goes really well with the rice and of course the crunchy and super-spicy fried chicken. Throw in some of the McD nuggets, a few burgers, and cokes, our dinner was Yum! Yum! Yum!

6. Ice Creams 

To complete the day, of course, we needed desserts to sweeten our taste buds. After eating spicy fried chicken and fiery sambal, of course something sweet and icy was needed to douse off our tongues a wee bit. We had Chocolate Mint and Durian flavours ice cream for our desserts. Both these ice cream had really swept us off our feet with their savoury texture and flavour.

These are but some of the more notable food that we had enjoyed on Mother's Day. Though it was nothing to shout about, we really had a great time indulging in morsels of yummy food that we love.
