This limited edition Adidas South Park Towelie Shoe is created to celebrate 420 which is World Weed Day. Don't get me wrong, yours truly me does not condone drugs but I love watching South Park. So naturally, this latest collaboration between Adidas and South Park really excites me. And no one else in the animated series is more capable of representing the day than the weed-smoking towel-Towelie. 😆

Notice the familiar "Chalk Purple" colour?

The terrycloth fabric used really reflects Towelie's built

Fans of South Park will immediately spot the "Chalk Purple" colour of the upper's terrycloth fabric which is of course Towelie's colour. The shoe also features white leather stripes and heel overlays to complete the look for the super junkie towel. Towelie's highly recognisable, innocent eyes now replace the usual tongue branding. I thought this design is really commendable especially for fans like us.

Expose the shoes to UV light and Towelie will soon get high

The best part is the eyes on the tongue will turn "bloodshot" when they are exposed to UV light to give you that intoxicated high effect that weed-smoking Towelie. OMG! Whoever who have thought about this is an absolute genius! Turn the tongue over and you will get a special message from Towelie. Each side of the shoe will come with Towelie's own iconic, cheeky message which reads, "Don't forget to bring a towel" on the left and "I have no idea what's going on!" on the right.
