I honestly believe that God wants us to be proactive and live our life on the offensive. Truth to be told, the satisfaction that we derive from our life relies on our own ingenuity and resourcefulness. If we simply wait for life to provide us with satisfaction, most probably it will render our life boring and meaningless. The door to opportunities will not open if you do not push it, right?

You have to seize your opportunity!

So don't just sit back and wait for chances to appear. Go after what you want-head on. If you want milk you should not seat yourself on a stool in the middle of the field and hope that the cow will come to you. Go to the cow and milk it! Statistically speaking, being on the defensive has not resulted in as many victories as being offensive and aggressive.

Some opportunities only appear once

Truth to be told: God loves to assist those who take the first step. So those who are rusted with lazy attitudes, underwhelming efforts and weak desires will not be in His book, to begin with. Instead, He values and supports those who possess passion, tenacity and perseverance. So be bold, and divine intervention might be bestowed upon you.

Step out of your comfort zone

You need to be aggressive and attack every opportunity that you have. No worthwhile opportunity will come knocking at your door when you are simply idling away. You have to work for it. You must find these opportunities on your own, one way or another. Remember not to be misled by procrastination which is the most wicked demons of all. When you procrastinate, you are burying your opportunity in the graveyard.

Don't just stare at your golden opportunity

Be tenacious and there will always be time and more opportunities awaiting you. That is why great people never lack opportunities. When successful people are being interviewed, you will notice that they will always talk about their future plans. Do not bend your head. Hold it high. Lillian Hellman once said, "It is best to act with confidence, no matter how little right you have to it." So have self-belief and move forward to grab your chances.
