Digi New Postpaid Plans From As Low As RM40

Digi new postpaid plans have just been unveiled with the most basic plan starting at RM40 for the year 2021. The lower starting price is more affordable than the previous RM80 that subscribers had to pay in year 2020. The latest postpaid plans revamp from Digi is seen as necessary for the telco to remain competitive as other telcos are offering better plans at cut-throat prices.

Cheaper postpaid plans from Digi. Will you switch?

To remain as one of the most preferred telcos in Malaysia, Digi attempts to provide their postpaid subscribers valued-added free and paid add-on options. In other words, these add-ons can be customized by individuals to tailor-make the best postpaid plan that suits their usage demands and lifestyle. The add-ons range from adding more data quota or even opting for unlimited high-speed unthrottled Internet data.

Tale note of the "or"

If you are someone who makes a lot of purchases in Google Play or iOS App Store or Digi's very own Easy Add Store, you can opt to have rebates of up to RM15 per month from the add-ons of the postpaid plan. Digi postpaid plan subscribers can also enjoy Digi Mobile Broadband or Roam Like Home add-on plans. However, each of these value-added free or paid add-ons will tie you down to a 12-month contract. The usual instant Internet passes are still available for those who want to top up their Internet data on the spot.

The most eye-catching offering from the new Digi Postpaid plans has got to be the new Digi Family supplementary lines. You can subscribe up to 6 additional Digi Family supplementary lines at half of their usual monthly price. That's a whopping 50% discount which is a lot. So the more supplementary lines you have, the more savings you will make. Hence my subscribing to Digi Family 40 supplementary plan, you can get 10G of all-access Internet, unlimited calls, add-on deals at only RM20 (instead of RM40). This is definitely a steal!

These are the best Digi supplementary offerings to date!

For those who have more than one device such as another smartphone or a tablet, you can subscribe Digi Gadget SIM at RM10 that will enable you to share your Digi Postpaid data quota. This is definitely a must to someone like me as I only use around 2GB of my postpaid data monthly and the rest will go to waste. Hence it will be better for me to just share it with a secondary device. Having said so, all Digi Family supplementary lines can also receive shared Internet quota from the main principal lines as well. This is awesome indeed!

If you can't finish it (like me) just share it!

Digi has claimed that old, existing customers will not be switched to these new revamped plans automatically. So that means you will need to call in to switch your plans? I wonder if I should switch to any of these new Digi plans. Currently, I am enjoying 40G of Internet Quota (including 10GB of Youtube and 10GB of loyalty bonus) for RM58 per month. Will I still be enjoying the Loyalty Bonus Internet quota with these Digi new postpaid plans? Still, these new revamped Digi Postpaid plans are not bad especially when you take into account the savings you will get with the supplementary lines! I am tempted to switch indeed. For more information, head over to Digi's official website.

  1. Too bad that I prefer prepaid than postpaid plan.

    1. Really? Wouldn't it be a hassle to reload or top up again and again?
