How To Report Smokers In a restaurant or eatery

Then again after more than a year, many smokers are still openly flouting the ban and puffing their cigarettes in eateries across Malaysia. These idiotic selfish smokers do not care about the welfare of other customers in the hawker centers or restaurants. These narrow-minded errant smokers just want to gratify their nicotine addiction even if their unsavory habit is detrimental to the health of others including innocent little children.

Smokers who light up in eateries are selfish and idiotic!

The disgusting smoke and irritable ash from the cigarettes that they smoke make everyone feel unpleasant when they are trying to enjoy their meals. For the record, smokers are supposed to carry out their self-centered smoking habit at least 3 metres (10 feet) away from the eateries. That means they have to be outside of the restaurants. YET a lot of these senseless smokers do not seem to care and continue to smoke openly without shame in restaurants and hawker centers.

It is a shame that some even smoke in front of their family!

Personally I HATE errant smokers who light up their cigarettes in eateries, allowing the disgusting smoke and ashes to swirl around us an infiltrate our lungs! They are utterly selfish and should be dealt with the harshest punishments available. Instead of just two years these errant smokers should be behind bars for up to 5 years! If they could not stop themselves from smoking in an eatery, they should at least change to electronic cigarette instead which does not emit any smoke or ash.

  1. Good, everyone should know. Personally I have not encountered any here, thankfully. The trouble here is enforcement here is lacking,,,not like Singapore.

    1. True the enforcement in Malaysia leaves a lot to be desired. It is a shame that we cannot really trust the authorities to do the correct thing.
