Being a modern-day husband, it is my responsibility to help lighten my wife's burden at home. Vacuuming used to be kinda boring and a drag due to the dull-looking vacuum cleaner with cords that will hold you back and even tangle you up! Now with this handheld cordless vacuum cleaner from Dyson, your vacuuming will be a breeze. In fact, I can't help but feel like I am a freaking Jedi in Star Wars movies, wielding my purplish blue light saber while sucking all those pesky dust around me. Ok! Let's get down to business. So how do I suck dust from around my house? You see instead of a normal on/off button, you need to press on the red trigger to start vacuuming. *SEE it is like a laser gun* I really love this intuitive design as it means you don't have to switch the vacuum on and off all the time. All you need to do is wrap one finger on the red trigger, apply pressure and *voila* dust can be seen collecting in the cylinder. I really feel liberated when I am using the V11 as there is no need to plug in. All I need to do is grab my gun and start vacuuming without the hassle of being restrained by cord length. It is super convenient and easy now to clean your house.
Intelligent Adaptive Sucking
It is undeniable that V11 Absolute is the best cord-free vacuum cleaner that Dyson has invented to date. Do you know that it can intelligently adjust the suction power automatically according to the floor type? Yes. Thanks to the 3 microprocessors integrated inside the Dynamic Load Sensor of the battery, digital motor and High Torque Cleaner Head, it can detect the different surfaces and change the power of the suction accordingly. This is made possible thanks to the the microprocessors which monitor your vacuuming performances up to 8,000 times a second. That is really, really fast!
Contrary to popular belief, a handheld cordless vacuum cleaner is not as powerful as a regular vacuum cleaner with wire. That is not the case here with the V11 Absolute. I am super impressed by how powerful the V11 digital motor is. Most of the time I just need to pass the vacuum once over any surfaces that I am cleaning and then it is spick and span. This is what happens when your vacuum motor runs at insane neck-breaking 125,000 rpm. On top of that, Dyson engineers further enhanced the motor by adding a triple diffuser and redesigning the rotating blades to be thinner and longer. All these tweaks enable the performance of the V11 motor, improving air flow, increasing suction power and reducing noise. Thanks to the re-engineering of the motor, my V11 has 20% more suction power than its older sibling-V10.
Smart LCD Display
Another first in V11 is the inclusion of integrated LCD display to show us the battery mode (auto, boost and eco) as well as the remaining runtime (battery juice). This ingenious display panel allows you to select your battery mode depending on your vacuuming needs and available runtime left. If you do not want to overthink which mode you should be using, just plug in the aforementioned High Torque Cleaner with Dynamic Load Sensor and it will change to Auto Mode. Then the suction power will be changed accordingly and toggled between the modes automatically to help you balance between power and battery. It is fun to see LCD display showing the auto-suction toggling between the different modes. :p
Apart from showing you a countdown timer (remaining runtime), the display will also notify you when your filter needs to be washed. It will also alert you if you do not connect your vacuum correctly. Experiencing blockage? Fret not as the screen will guide you on how to fix the problem by actually playing an animated demo for your to dismantle the vacuum to solve your problem. You will have your whole command system on the screen. Damn! So it makes perfect sense to add a circular LCD screen to V11.

Clean and Easy
When you are vacuuming around your house, the 14 cyclones will be busy generating a collective force of more than 79,000g to suck in all the microscopic particles such as bacteria and pollen into the V11 Bin. So rest assured that nothing dirty will be sticking to any surfaces that you have glided over. Moreover the fully sealed filtration system also ensure that only clean air will be expelled at the other end of the vacuum. Do you know that the filtration system can trap up to 99.97% of particles as small as 0.3 microns? Gosh it sounds like my Dyson Air Purifier already.
After using the V11 Absolute I don't think I will be using another normal vacuum cleaner anymore. Why? This is because it makes me feel so CLEAN. Thanks to the clever design of the "Point and Shoot" V11 Bin, I can easily dispose all the collected dust and dirt without being in contact with any of the filth. All I have to do is hover the V11 Bin on top of a trashcan and push down the lever to eject all the dirt and dust. Since the bin is also transparent, you can easily see how much dust, dirt and of course are being sucked in. After using my Dyson V11 Absolute for almost 1 week, I must say that my house has definitely become cleaner (no joke). More importantly, I am so used to the convenience that comes with it. It is so easy to use that I am actually doing a lot more of spot cleaning on top of my weekly routine. In fact even children are now more keen to help clean the house. It is kinda fun toying with the different tools and heads to get your cleaning job done. You can switch the accessories to see what fits your cleaning tasks. As for me, most of the time I will be using the High Torque Cleaner Head, Mini Motorised Tool, the Crevice Tool and the Soft Dusting Brush. Another useful addition is the Wand Storage Clip which allows me to attach two of my most-used tools to the extension pole (purplish blue light saber). Hence I can easily swap my tools for different tasks as it is attached to the vacuum. Speaking about total convenience here!

Another very important tool that Dyson decided to throw in is the Drop-in Dock which I thought was really, really indispensable. Besides being a charging dock, it also contains two ports for you to store your other tools that you do not use that frequent. More importantly, IMHO this Dock really makes the whole V11 Absolute looks more beautiful and not to mention very premium. It really exudes so much class and futuristic vibes to it. Ha :D
