Bank On Others-Believe In Them

Have you tried investing in others in terms of your trust, time and most importantly love? When you believe in someone, you are actually helping them to be the best that they can be. Bank on them and help them be great.

In life, there is nothing more exciting than to be on the lookout for chances (of fates) to bank on others and believe in them. Honestly, investing in others especially in terms of time and love has been one of the most defining principles that I have tried to implement in my life. I once read a book written by Zig Ziglar which wrote:

You'll always have everything you want in life if
you'll help enough other people get what they want.

This statement is so powerful and profound that it drummed into my mind on that day, taking root deep in my soul and I have told myself , "That is what I am going to try to do whenever I can!" That decision to look for ways to help others, to bank on others, to believe in them has totally changed my life. Don't you agree that in order for us to strive for something great, we need to first help others to develop greatness in themselves? How so true right?

Have you reached out your hand?

William Ward said it best, "There are three keys to more abundant living: caring about others, daring for others and sharing with others." I realize that a lot of great men (and women) are those who give a lot: They let it flow through them into others, unconditionally. Surely we make a living by what we get but we can only make a life by what we give. So if you haven't been a selfless, it is time to make it a point to make others happy and successful. Believe it or not, some people can become what we encourage them to be.

What "investment" have you done so far?

Give with sincerity and when you trust them, they will be truthful to you; When you treat them greatly, they will in turn show the greatness in them. Make it a habit to treat people as if they were what they ought to be and help them to become what they are capable of being. In other words, we can help bring out the best in others and help them realize their true potential. They need our little nudge to help them believe.

Give sincerely

Do not lavish praise blindly but instead give sincere praise. There is no investment you can make that will pay you so well as investing in the improvement of others throughout your waking moments. B. C. Forbes mentioned, "The person who renders loyal service in a humble capacity will be chosen for higher responsibilities, just as the biblical servant who multiplied the one pound given by his master was made ruler over ten cities."

The true meaning of life is to plant trees
under whose shade you do not expect to sit.
~Nelson Henderson~

How so true!

Always remember that any good deed that you sow will bear interest. You cannot hold a light to another's path without brightening yours in the first place. Always strive to reach out and lend a helping hand. Lift people up, don't put them down. The greatest use of your life is to spend it for something and someone that will outlast it. If you cannot win, make sure the one ahead of you will break the record! Invest in others now as they pay great dividends. Period.
