LG Q Stylus-A Cheaper Galaxy Note 8

LG Q Stylus is a cheaper Alternative to Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and it is capable of taking notes, drawing and editing photos. LG Q Stylus sports a 6.2-inch Full HD screen and 16MP Camera.

It has been a while since we last saw a smartphone which comes with a stylus. I am glad that LG has announced the LG Q Stylus smartphone which is set to rival the more expensive Samsung Galaxy Note 8, which has become increasingly more expensive. In other words, with LG Q Stylus, you can get the functionality of Samsung's Note series with a more affordable price tag. LG claimed that this smartphone will be released on a limited basis to those lucky folks in North America and Asia (Malaysia? Yay!) before a global roll out later this year.

With LG Q Stylus, you now can brandish a pen to draw, take notes and even touch up your photos and videos. According to LG, Q Stylus can even take notes with the display off, a feature which was previously only available for Galaxy Note series. Moreover, this device also features LG's "palm rejection" technology which can distinctively differentiate an accidental touch of you palm or intentional touch with the stylus.

Q Stylus will offer pen functionality of Galaxy Note 8 at a cheaper price.

When you hold the LG Q Stylus, you will be mesmerized by its 6.2-inch 18:9 Full HD+ display, which translates to bigger screen space for you to take notes, draw sketches and edit your photos. At the back of the smartphone, you will get a 16MP rear camera and flip it to the front there is an 8MP camera for your selfie needs. Both front and rear cameras are equipped with phase detect autofocus to capture more beautiful photos. Interestingly, LG Q Stylus will also comes with advanced DTS:X 7.1 channel 3D surround audio sound system. So LG is really cramming in a lot of features for this affordable Galaxy Note series alternative huh!

Under the hood, LG Q Stylus will be powered by a 1.8GHz Octa-core processors, and it will be complemented with up to 4GB of RAM. Interestingly there will be 3 different variants of LG Q Stylus namely: top-end LG Q Stylus PLus, the regular LG Q Stylus and the lower-end LG Q Stylus Aplha. The top of the line LG Q Stylus Plus will come with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage compared to the 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage found in the other two variants of LG Stylus.

Do you know that LG Q Stylus is also water and dust resistant with an IP68 rating, which is really very good for a smartphone of its price point. The device will be juiced by a 3,300mAh battery which supports USB Type-C fast charging and a rear fingerprint sensor. How I wish all smartphones have In-display fingerprint sensor just like Vivo X21. Then again I guess for its price, LG Q Stylus is really a bargain for those who want a device with stylus functionality. LG Q Stylus will be available in 3 different colours: Lavender Violet, Morrocon Blue and Aurora Black.
