It's Monday again and people like me who have been enjoying our long holidays will find it difficult to slip into our formal attires and be stuck in the morning crawl on our way to the office, more so if it is a Monday. I dread waking after a great weekend, having to drag myself all the way to my box. Sounds like I have been inundated by Monday Blues huh! How about you? Well...nothing can help me get the "monkey" off my back like a feel-good song...say Taylor Swift' Shake It Off?

Shake It Off shows Swift's clear intention to depart from her earlier country pop musical style, and she is beginning to show how versatile she no matter what genre she is belting! In fact if you have not been following Taylor Swift, listening to Shake It Off alone would have made you think that Pop Music is Swift' forte all along. That's how good she really is. I am quite impressed by her transformation.

This is what Taylor Swift has got to say about her latest hit-"With the song 'Shake It Off,' I really wanted to kind of take back the narrative, and have more of a sense of humor about people who kind of get under my skin — and not let them get under my skin. There's a song that I wrote a couple years ago called 'Mean', where I addressed the same issue but I addressed it very differently. I said, 'Why you gotta be so mean?', from kind of a victimized perspective, which is how we all approach bullying or gossip when it happens to us for the first time. But in the last few years I've gotten better at just kind of laughing off things that absolutely have no bearing on my real life. I think it's important to be self-aware about what people are saying about you, but even more so, be very aware of who you actually are, and to have that be the main priority."

Hats off for Taylor Swift. I am really amazed by her charisma. Not many artists are willing to make themselves look "ugly" in front of the audience, let alone laughing at themselves. She took this whole "realization" thing to a whole new level and make it really, really fun. She said it right, RIGHT? Why get frustrated with false news, jealousy and fabricated gossips that you have no control over? Just mix it into your music and enjoy it. Hahaha :D Taylor Swift has a clear message for everyone, bullies, paparazzi and gossipers have no influence of her life and she wants everyone to stand up for themselves. Way to go! Now let's Shake It Off, shall we?

Honestly I was rolling on the floor laughing while watching Shake It Off. My oh my. Taylor Swift has really nailed again huh. She is not ashamed at all to let everyone knows what she is not good at.
