I believe by now a lot of us must have heard Sia's Chandelier right? This electropop song from Sia is taken from her sixth studio album-1000 Forms of Fear. Sia's catchy raspy voice really breathe life into the whole Chandelier; wait...after all she's the one crafted the song right? I must say this is at this time my most favourite song of the moment. It feels like it has been ages since we get to listen to such a beautiful song huh!

You'll have a hard time deciphering the song if you don't scrutinize the lyrics that Sia had penned. "Here comes the shame, here comes the shame! 1, 2, 3. 1, 2, 3 drink!" OMG! The way Sia croons over this reggae-like beat in Chandelier really sets her apart from her peers. With the booming chorus and infectious marimbas intertwining with Sia's uninhibited belting makes the whole song even more perfect! Seriously...how many divas can actually pull off their half-scream vocals and still sound sonically pleasurable? Not many right and Sia is really one of such rare singers!

Chandelier is written with elements of melancholic; one that depicts the demoralization of alcoholism that usually comes typical with "party girl'. However in actual fact,  Sia's Chandelier is actually a song about her personal struggles with alcoholism and even prescription drugs. In a rare interview with Billboard, Sia said, "I was really unhappy being an artist. I was always a drinker but I didn't know I was an alcoholic. Then I got seriously addicted to Vicodin and Oxycodone." I hope she had exorcised that demon inside of her already.

Maddie-Ziegler-The girl who gives Chandelier a deeper meaning!

When I looked at the official music video of Chandelier...initially I was a bit puzzled but after pondering for a while the music video which was directed by Daniel Askill and Sia really blew my mind! Choreographed by Ryan Heffington, the 12 years old Maddie Ziegler who danced the song totally nailed the message that Sia wanted to get through to the audience. Ziegler's every graceful move and soulful glance is so meticulously captivating! I must admit that I am pleasingly in love with Ziegler's dancing-she is really in her elements! The whole choreograph has really epressed Sia's chandelier in a very beautiful, artistic way! Awesome!

What do you think folks? Hook up your headphones and stuff your earplugs and you will understand why Sia's Chandelier is not only amazingly addicting, but it is really liberating at the same time. It's like you are in Sia's place...you don't feel any inhibition anymore. OMG! I have to admit that Sia's mystically penned Chandelier that narrates the story of a party girl with an epiphany really hits all the right notes for audiophiles like me! I am so in love with Chandelier, Sia and Ziegler! Arrgghh....I can't get enough of them. :D
