Begin Somewhere With What You Have

What you can do-you can do. What works? Work on what is working for you. Please don't (you can but...) wish you could do things you can't do. Instead why don't we think on what we can do and work on it? Each and everyone of us who got to where he is, had to begin where he was right? They say only one in a thousand knows how to really live in the present. Now the problem is: we seldom think of what we have; instead, we always  think of what we lack. Does this sound familiar?

Begin with what you have. :)

Basil Walsh said it right, "We don't need more strength or more ability or greater opportunity. What we need to use it what we have." Most of us are always ignoring something that we can do and trying to do something that we can't. Learning new things won't help the person who isn't using what he already knows. How so true. Success literally means doing the best we can with what we already have. Don't you agree?

We've all heard that we have to learn from our mistake,
but I think it is more important to learn from our success.
If you learn only from your mistakes, you are inclined to learn only error.
~Norman Vincent Peale~

I strongly agree with what Norman have said (above). In fact, some people spend their whole lives failing and never even notice. The main thing that's wrong with doing nothing is that you never know when you are finished. When you are through improving, it means you are through. Use whatever  have been given. Use what you have been blessed with, and rest assured that more will come to you. Never leave well enough alone.

Unless you are Storm from X-men, there's no way you can control the weather; But you can control the moral atmosphere that surrounds you. More importantly you can control you-yourself.  So why worry about things that you can't influence at all, let alone control? So start controlling the things that you have control over. Like what Orison Marden says, "A strong, successful man is not the victim of his environment. He creates favourable conditions." Remember that the person who gets ahead is the one who does more than is ncessary and keeps on doing it. Are you ready to create your own conditions now?

Begin somewhere with what you have today!
