Yes, this is a video made for the tomorrow's World Cup 2010 in South Africa. Actually this video featuring a~hem yours truly me, was made for the advertorial proposal that I have accepted earlier on. However I decided not to continue after some conflicts arose. You see, I was given the opportunity to make this video showing two people trying to sabotage each other to win a "prize". Unfortunately, the client felt that the video was promoting other brands. I have indirectly endorsed my favourite Nescafe and Maggi.

Miscommunication happened. Although both these brand are non-competing brands, client still felt that what I did was inappropriate. So they wanted me to censor or cut that particular part where the brands were being shown. I am an idiot when it comes to video editing. In fact this was the first time I have ever directed, recorded and edited a video from scratch. It was really tough for a newbie like me. So I felt utterly disappointed when the client rejected my hard work. T_T

I refused to censor my video, hoping the client would bulge. Of course they were firm with their decision. You see, the person who was in charge of my advertorial with the client went out of her way to help me. She even spliced the video on my behalf because I didn't know how to do it and I don't have the software to try and do it. She used a few hours to help me "fix" the video. Upon receiving the video I was shocked. Too many scenes were omitted, there was no more substance in that video anymore. I immediately contacted her and told her that I wanted to opt out from the advertorial. I felt sorry for her though. :'(

So what do you think about my video? Lousy and nonsensical right? You can put the blame on me folks. I planned the script and directed the whole thing. And I was the person who put the finishing touches to this video. However, IMHO I thought I really, really like it. :p Perhaps it was my maiden video. Then again I really, really wanna 3 people who made this whole video possible. Without them, you guys wouldn't be able to watch this video.

The first person I wanna thank is Shantanu. You must be wondering who on earth is Shantanu right? He is my dear cousin. Unlike me he is very good-looking right? I wanna thank him for willing to do silly stuff with me. :p

Then the lady who appeared "out of nowhere" is my wacky aunt aka Shantanu's mom. Don't you think she is very spontaneous. In fact, I didn't even have to tell her what she need to do. She did it on her own. :)

As usual, she is very shy. :p

And the last and most important person of them all is my one and only beloved wife. She was the skillful camerawoman. Without her, I won't be able to produce my first video. She is always by my side, supporting me and gives me encouragement. She also gave me a lot of ideas and insights on how I should do this video. Gracias wifey.

P.S. Sorry for the bad grammar in the video. Haha :D I was in a rush~mah. :p
