Good morning folks. Again it is the first day of the Chinese Lunar calender again. And today happens to be the 1st of April (according to our Lunar Calender). No, today is not the oriental version of April's Fool Day. I just wanna share with all of you what we normally do on the 1st and 15th of each lunar month. As usual we will wake up earlier to prepare for our praying ceremony. We will offer prayers not only to the God and Deities but also to our ancestors. So after we had served fruits to the Higher beings, we will offer prayers to our ancestors.

Can I have some later mama?

In my house, we will offer prayers to my dearest mommy. Since mom is not a vegetarian, we can offer her more meaty meals. Ha :D Today we bought her chicken rice and Durian! Yes, not apples or seedless grapes today. Instead mom will have yellow fleshy durian to whet her appetite. I am sure she is happily eating her scrumptious king of fruits right now. Lastly mom will always savour the aroma of Nescafe to sum up this lovely day. Good morning~mama. :)
