After my previous post about whacky photos pf eggs, I decided to blog about eggs again today. I believe some of you eat at least an egg every day right? Some simply feed on it as if it is their main diet. But these are not chicken eggs that I am talking about but...those of the fishes. So today let's talk about the best eggs that we are not eating. Well...not that we don't wanna eat it...some of it is really off our "radar"! :p We are gonna talk about the idolized caviar today. When you factor in the nutrional power of caviar, it may finally make sense why these tiny fish eggs are such a precious delicacy.

Look how vibrant are these caviars!

Per ounce, caviar contains there times as many heart-healthy omega-3 fatty acids as salmon. Wow! Now that's really a lot aye. What is caviar? Simply put it is the pickled roe of sturgeon or other large fish eaten as delicacy. Frankly I have never taste any caviar before in my life. At least not the expensive ones. I wonder how it feels on my tastebuds? Anyway try these simple recipes to inject a little more caviar into your diet. Perhaps this could serve as an appetising meal?

Omelet with caviar topping anyone?

1~Caviar Omelet
Spoon 2 teaspoons of domestic caviar, such as peddlefish caviar, into an omelet just before you fold it over. Next, top your omelet with a dallop of sour cream and a few squirts of fresh lemon juice. Wow!

How mouth-watering could this get?

2~Oyster Caviar
Here's something special. Now...carefully open up the raw (yes) osyters, keeping them in the half shell. Then drizzle them with a few drops of chilled vodka and place sliced scallions and a small spoonful of domestic caviar on top. Serve with a lemon wedge. Yummy! :p

Don't stop me! I love rice & salmon!

3~Salmon Roe Rice Bowl
Finally top a bowl of rice with slices or seared ahi tuna, avocado, and a few spoonfuls of salmon roe. This is what the Japanese call ikuradon. Ouh...now only I know. I guess Sushi fans would be drooling for this one right? Me too...I love anything with rice. :D

Caviars with chicken eggs...not bad what. ;)

Well guys, that's all for our eggy, eggy post today ya. Try to have one of these delicacies and I'm sure you'll love it. I wanna ask my wife to prepare one for me too. Have a great weekend everyone. :D
