My last post is about Slumdog Millionaire right? We have already heard Pussycat Doll's Jai Ho earlier on. So shall we listen to the original version this week? I would love to...but...to bad I can't find the song. But I did managed to find another alternative which was featured in the Slumdog Millionaire itself. For those of you who have watched it, did you notice there's an opening song being played while the kids were playing in the compound of the airport? Then they were chased by the airport securities right into their village? Yes, I'm going to pick that song as the Music Monday of today. It's known as Paper Planes by M.I.A (Both hyperlinks are different).

Although this song-Paper Planes was produced in 2007, it was not until a year later that it started to gain prominence and commercial success. Paper Planes is not only featured in the movie but also as one of Slumdog Millionaire's OST. And guess what? Do you know that this song was also nominated as the Record of The Year for the 2008 Grammy Awards? Then in 2009, M.I.A was placed in Time Magazine's 100 Most Influential People simply for 'having global influence' across many genres. Sounds like she has a lot to offer huh?
