My Standard Chartered e$aver Account!

Lots of it!

I'm so sorry that I couldn't update this blog as often as I want to. Too many priorities popped up and forced me not to blog for awhile.Anyway...today...finally I managed to steal some time from my "sleep" to doodle something for your viewing pleasure. This time around I would like to share with you guys what I have done a few weeks ago. Yes! Yes! The title itself suggest it's about an account right? To be more precise it's Standard Chartered e$aver Account! I actually had to visit the bank twice before I could open this savings account! Yep! TWICE! Glad I had nailed it!

So why on earth is this account so darn special? So much so I have to turn up twice to get it? For starters, it's because during my 1st visit to the bank...it was going to end its business. I vividly remembered it was around 3.45 p.m.! Crap! The banks actually close that early? Or was it because the staff wanted to go back early? Great, talking about incompetent! To make thing worse, there's only one Standard Chartered bank in Malacca. Duh! You guys must be wondering why I still want to knock on their doors right? Simple...

Flexibleeeeee-just like yoga???

Because Standard Chartered's e$aver Accounts offer what other banks couldn't or wouldn't! Yes, not even Maybank nor Public Bank has such savings account! And that's exactly what made this savings account so irresistible to me. Hey, the guys from SC (Standard Chartered) are really good at sweetening things up huh! This e$aver account offers the flexibility that none has right now. This e$aver is being championed as the ultimate savings account with the HIGHEST rate! For record: if you have tonnes of cold hard cash, you money could actually grow at a phenomenon rate of 3.5% per annum! Hey, that's more than what the FD could offer right now. It's like money falling from the sky-literally! Best of all, your cash are not shackled to the bank.

Now that's really something huh!

They say we should invest our hard-earned bucks prudently right? And I believe this savings account is the right one for me. Besides the unbelieveable interest rate this saving account could offer, e$aver could also provide me the liquidity that none other can. So kudos to SC for coming out with this brilliant plan, especially during this testing time! With e$aver, you can make your Ringgit grow faster with high daily interest of up to 3.5% p.a., that's 5X more interest than your usual savings account! So do you think this savings account suits you? My verdict: GO GET IT!!!

e$aver-the best thus far!

Anyway I have to sleep right now. Have lots of errands to do later on. Need to buy some perishable stuff such as , vegetables, meats, fish etc at the wet market! Meaning I have to wake up early. Then I am going to AmBank with my wife! *yawn* Nighty night everyone! :)

Good for you!

Gosh! I haven't been to a wet market in ages. I like the colours and variety in a wet market but not the smell and the wet condition. Frankly, I am glad marketing can be done in supermarkets or hypermarkets - so much more pleasant.

Malique-->Your country can't withdraw? How come? Perhaps they will change that later on? =)

Happy Surfer-->Haha =) Hmm...I prefer wet market though. Perhaps I'm used to it. I've frequent wet market since I'm still a toddler! That's why I'm ok with it. =)

I was looking for book sources and guess what I found on one of your Google ads, a book on Wing Chun. I remember your post on Ip Man.

Wow! WV is using some real words now.

Hi, tekkaus. Luckily I am a follower of your blog, and whenever you update, I can see it on my blog. If not, forget about you oredy since you so long did not blog! LOL!

Oh, so good one this e$aver? I use this bank's credit card but didn't think of opening a savings account with them! Maybe I should! But at 3.5% still can't beat inflation which is above 5% at least. But better than other lower interest saving accounts from other banks I guess : )

Oh, before I forget, you invested in the CIMB fund (forgot the name!) right? How is it doing? I thought of investing in that too since it requires very min deposit and also flexible : )

I am someone who prefers shopping at supermarkets but I would like to visit one where I can photograph the people and hive of activities.

I have always been busy for the past months often leaving office after midnight. I am also a keen wet market shopper where the stuffs look fresher.

Hmmmm economy stuff... is this stuff for married couple only?? =P

It does look attractive, but stay tuned - you never know if other banks will copy SCB's. Last time only PB offered debit cards out of so many banks in Malaysia, then suddenly the trend caught on and now most of the major consumer-catering banks offer debit cards! XD

If that's the case then we have you to thank, because you popularised the e$aver so much that other banks can't help noticing and want to fight back. :P

Happysurfer-->A book on wing chun? Are you interested in it? Ha =) It is becoming really filial huh!

Foongpc-->Haha :D Thanks for visiting my blog. I really appreciate it. Don't lar forget me. Anyway there are really other priorities that need my attention.

Yupe! The Max is 3.5% but good enough for a savings account! Yupe the CIMB fund is called max-invest save. I'm not sure how it has performed thus far but I believe it's on a good run!

Rad Sujanto-->Nah! Not really bound for married couple only. And for record...I'm not officially married yet. =)

JL-->Yeah! Hopefully other banks will follow suit! After all, we need a trendsetter to benefit all of us right? =)

Tekkaus said...

Levian-->Yeah! Marketing is important but they also need to have something solid to back it up! Wet market? Hmm...I will sleep on it. ;P
